I became a believer at twelve years old, but I was never discipled to be a follower. I learned the ways of the world and fell into deep bondage. When I finally surrendered everything to Jesus, He delivered me, and I realized He saved me for an abundant life today.
My real growth happened when I reached out to a mentor named Ed. For years, he met with me weekly online. He didn't just lecture; he listened, asked questions, and helped me think biblically. That online discipleship changed my life, and Shine Light Ministries exists to be that safe space for you.

Follower
We guide you in obeying Jesus and experiencing Him in real life. True discipleship is helpfully living out His Word within community.
Disciple-Maker
Every believer is called to help others know and follow Jesus. We empower you to share your faith with heart.
A disciple follows Jesus, becomes like Him, and helps others follow.
Nature Change
Believers become a new creation; the old has passed away and the new life has come through Christ Jesus.
Transformation
What Does a Changed Life Look Like?
A changed life is more than changed behavior; transformation begins from the inside. Following Jesus changes us in profound ways. We move away from the patterns of the world and find our true identity in Him as our lives are reshaped by His grace, love, and undeniable truth.
Rule Change
We move from living in my kingdom to His kingdom, placing Him as the ultimate authority over all.
Direction Change
Our path shifts from my will to His will, following the leading of the Holy Spirit in everything we do.
