A Digital Front Porch.
A Family in Christ.
The longing for belonging is real.
You can believe in Jesus, attend church, and still feel alone, unseen, or unsure how to grow in your walk with God.
In a culture marked by loneliness and disconnection, many believers are longing for more than content, programs, or surface-level connection. They are longing for a place where they are known, loved, and truly belong.
We use online spaces as a front porch to invite people into authentic community — a place to share life, ask honest questions, open up about struggles, and learn how to follow Jesus together.
A Place to Be Known
Shine Light Ministries is a space where believers can grow in Jesus through honest conversation, biblical encouragement, and authentic community.
This is a place for:
- Honest questions
- Sharing struggles
- Encouragement
- Growing together
- Learning to follow Jesus
- Equipped for doing God's work
This is not just a place to listen to teaching. It is a space to be known, loved, encouraged, and formed as a disciple of Jesus.

Ongoing Discipleship Community
F.A.M. Discipleship Groups
A space where believers grow as spiritual family, abide in Jesus, and live on mission together.
F.A.M. means Family, Abide, Mission.
Jesus changed the world by making disciples.
We believe He still changes the world the same way.
That’s why Shine Light Ministries exists—to make disciples who walk with Jesus and help others do the same.
Why This Matters to Me
I came to know Jesus at a young age, but I didn’t know how to walk with Him.
Without discipleship, I started searching for belonging in the wrong places. That road led to brokenness, gangs, jail, drugs, and unhealthy relationships.
But in 2016, I cried out to Jesus and asked Him to deliver me. That night became a turning point in my life. Jesus transformed me, and later someone personally discipled me in a way that deeply shaped my walk with God.
Now my heart is to help others walk with Jesus, experience authentic community, and grow as disciples who help others follow Him.
